About

Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.

- Victor Hugo

RIAN CULT started out as a drummer from a really small city in Constanta, Romania. After seeing Phil Collins perform live at the age of 8, he realized composing music is what he should be doing. His approach to songwriting has developed and changed drastically since coming to Berklee College of Music in 2016. He has, ever since, worked with many people from and outside the Berklee/Boston area and has crafted and polished his own musical style.

His approach to music is trying to incorporate styles from Phil Collins (as heard in "Don't Wanna Lose You") using the saxophone as a great solo instrument, as well as Ed Sheeran vibes from his latest song "Wanderer". His dedication and kindness have gotten him collaborating with so many people in such a short time so that he was able to put any idea he had into practice, and then, into music.

Picking up the piano, and later on with help from a fellow student, Sofia Oviedo, the guitar, RIAN CULT has managed to set up a new goal for his career and will not stop until his music is blasting every car radio in the world.

Having played with amazing artists and musicians such as Nicu Patoi (famous guitar player from Romania) and Steve Vai's cellist Adrian Ciuplea, RIAN CULT has gathered as much knowledge as he could from all experiences. Traveling across the country to play on numerous stages, his musical career took a major step forward. All his history so far has been reflected into songs of completely different genres, from the new trend of trap/rap ("CHANGE") to a dreamy dance pop ("I'm With You").
